CHENNAI—The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry has praised the Tamil Budget as ‘Biggie’.
Its chairman Velu stated:
Allocation of Rs 3,200 crore for industrial sector, setting up of technology parks in three cities including Chengalpattu and Rs 1,800 crore for Chennai border road are welcome.
Also, the allocation of Rs 100 crore for the third World Investors Conference is also welcome.
Small and micro enterprises have also been given more importance in the budget.
It says so.
