He Chapultepec Forest will receive from August 7 to 11 the Nature and Culture Festival which will have more than 100 activities for all ages, as announced by the general coordinator of Pillar Subsystems, Javier Hidalgo Ponce.

“This festival is a celebration for girls and boys, young people, women and older adults from all over Mexico City, a great party where they will show the knowledge and results of their learning in community, education, culture, sports and economic autonomy,” explained Hidalgo Ponce.
The opening will be on Wednesday August 7th at 11am with the event Knitting with the Heart I Found the Threads of Lifein addition to a day dedicated to textiles in the Mexico City and a massive backstrap loom class to expose the activities that take place in the Pillars to preserve the country’s cultural legacy.
Thursday August 8th The activities will be dedicated to dancing, because in the Castle chapultepec Three ballet performances by girls, boys and young people will be held at 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00.
Within the framework of the World Youth Dayand with the aim of highlighting its social role in the capital, on Friday from 10 a.m. at the Park of Urban Cultures (Parcur) Activities such as bookbinding, engraving, cardboard making, an exhibition dedicated to axolotls, mask making, rap battles and skateboarding and figure skating demonstrations will take place; while in the Scenic Garden There will be regional and contemporary dance performances.
Saturday August 10th The festival’s main event will be the closing of the Summer Fun Pillars 2024 in The pines Starting at 10:00 a.m., more than 13,000 children and their families are expected to participate; and a robotics meeting and a technological innovation fair will be held on the tennis court of the cultural complex.
