Member of Parliament Chanakian has accused Pillaiyan of abetting the government’s land grabbing activities in the name of development committee meeting.
Instead of holding District Development Committee meetings, only Wagarai District Development Committee meeting was held on Friday and following that the District Development Committee meeting is being held today.
He said that he sees this as a conspiracy and that the activities are being carried out behind the scenes to completely tarnish the government of Wagarai.
Pillaiyan was an accomplice in the scams
He mentioned this while addressing the Batticaloa District Development Committee meeting on Friday.
He also alleged that massive frauds are taking place especially in the shrimp farming project and land allotment projects in Vagarai.
At the same time, he pointed out that there are corruption scams in the name of Chetanapasalai and Pillaiyan is helping them.
