The incident took place in June on an Airbus A320, La Tribune newspaper reported, citing a company spokesperson. An argument broke out between the pilot and the co-pilot shortly after take-off. The two grabbed each other by the collar and argued and one punched the other, the newspaper reported.
The cabin crew came running after hearing the sound of arguments and bickering between the pilots. After both were removed, one of the cabin crew remained in the cockpit until the plane landed.
The spokesperson said in a press release that the issue was quickly resolved and the safety of the flight was not affected. The names of the pilots have not been released.
