PIMEC and Blanes City Council sign an agreement to “favor” the business fabric

PIMEC Girona and the City Council of Blanes have signed a collaboration agreement that gives continuity to the relationship between the local administration and the employer One of the main objectives is boost economic activityas well as the generation of opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises and the self-employed in Blanes. Another priority is job creation in the municipality, where there is a diversity of economic sectors that coexist there.

The signing of the agreement was led by the president of PIMEC Girona, Pere Cornellàand the mayor of Blanes, Angel Gray. They were accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Tourism, City Promotion, Commerce and Business, Albert Sanz, as well as technicians from the two institutions. The event was held at the Mayor’s Office, where the mayor and the president of the employers’ association in the territory exchanged impressions regarding the current social and economic situation with regard to the creation of opportunities with a future.

The agreement includes the commitment of promote digital transformation, sustainability and self-employment. In addition, it is planned that the employers’ association and the council will carry out actions to promote and encourage the culture of lifelong learning, developing specific actions according to the needs of the different groups.
