Pink Martini will return to the Peralada festival this summer, in its 36th edition. It will be on July 23, at the band’s only stop in Catalonia, and for the occasion it will have China Forbes and Storm Large, the two vocalists of the group. This will be Forbes’ debut in Peralada, where a guest artist will also perform, which the music group has not yet unveiled. Founded in 1994, this small orchestra has performed three times at the Alt Empordà castle, the last of which was in 2019.
Pink Martini joins the other two proposals announced by the Alt-Empordà festival so far: Joan Manuel Serrat’s concert as part of his farewell tour (July 16) and contemporary opera Hadrian by Rufus Wainwright (July 29). The full poster of the event will be made public on May 19th.
