Bollini Rosa, free clinical, diagnostic and information services for women in participating hospitals
On the occasion of the National Women’s Health Daywhich is celebrated on April 22, Fondazione Onda, National Observatory on Women’s and Gender Health, organizes from today to April 26th the seventh edition of the (H) -Open Week with the aim of promoting information, prevention and treatment for women.
The structures of the network of Pink stickers who have joined the initiative will offer free clinical, diagnostic and information servicesin presence and at a distance, in various specialist areas including: cardiology, dermatology, diabetology, dietology and nutrition, endocrinology and metabolic diseases, gynecology and obstetrics, reproductive medicine, neurology, gynecological oncology, medical oncology, pulmonology, psychiatry, rheumatology, senology, urology, violence against women.
All the services offered during the week can be consulted on the website www.bollinirosa.it with information on dates, times and booking methods. You can select the region and province of interest to view thelist of participating hospitals and consult the services offered. They joined the 2021 edition 182 hospitalswhich they disbursed in total 8,000 services, including visits, instrumental examinations, consultancy and meetings open to citizens in presence and virtual.
“With this seventh edition of Open week which boasts the patronage of 18 scientific societies, Fondazione Onda renews its commitment to women’s health which began when the then Minister of Health Beatrice Lorenzin established the day dedicated to women’s health”, comments Francesca Merzagorapresident of the Onda Foundation.
“This year over 270 participating hospitals will offer from 20 to 26 April diagnostic and therapeutic services, information activities, conferences and more to bring the female population closer to increasingly early diagnoses and personalized treatment paths. The post-health post highlights the enthusiasm of our Pink Stamps in resuming all the activities forcibly left behind in the last two years of the pandemic “.
Onda Foundation, since 2007 has awarded hospitals that provide services dedicated to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the main female pathologies the recognition of the Pink Stamps; the network, made up of 354 hospitals located throughout the country, supports Fondazione Onda in promoting, even within hospitals, a “gender” approach in the definition and strategic planning of clinical-assistance services, essential for guaranteeing the right to health not only of women but also of men.
