Piraeus Bank is adopting a new type of bank branch, utilizing digital technology and incorporating modern banking trends and practices.
The aim is to create the branches of the future, which will combine innovations and targeted service from experienced banking advisors, in a modern and pleasant environment, so that the Bank can respond more effectively to the constantly changing needs and demands of its customers and at the same time modernize and improve the working environment for its employees. For this reason, it is making significant investments, highlighting the importance it gives to the dynamics of its network, the largest banking network in the country with 387 branches, which strategically cover the territory.
In the new branch of Piraeus Bank, the customer enjoys fast and personalized service in an open, friendly and familiar environment. Upon entering, he is greeted by the bank advisor and directed according to the tasks he wants to carry out. Transactions are carried out electronically through machines that utilize the integrated network of digital channels, with the assistance of the Bank’s staff where necessary. To manage the special needs of customers, there are closed areas, which ensure the privacy of discussions.
The new, modern design of the store facilitates the interaction between the customer and the banking advisor, in order to find the product or service that best meets their needs. In this way, the overall customer experience and service is upgraded and the human-centric culture that characterizes the Piraeus Bank network is further strengthened.
With the use of digital media and the digitization of operations, a drastic reduction of the necessary forms is achieved, resulting in both a further reduction in the time it takes to complete transactions, as well as a significant reduction of the Bank’s energy footprint.
The conversion of the stores starts immediately and will be completed gradually. Three new stores are already operating on a pilot basis in Athens, Thessaloniki and Loutraki, with impressive results in the speed and immediacy of customer service in a modern environment.
