PIS/Pasep with the current calendar with a minimum wage of R$ 1,302 O payment schedule do PIS/Pasep salary allowance of 2023 — referring to the base year 2021 — starts next is 15. The schedule was approved by the Deliberative Council of the Worker’s Support Fund (Codefat) in mid-December and runs until July (see dates below).
Payment dates vary between the 15th or 17th, depending on the month. In the case of workers in the private sector — who receive the PIS managed by Caixa Econômica Federal —, the first to receive it are those born in January.
Among public servants and employees — who receive the Pasep, paid by Banco do Brasil —, the calendar considers the beneficiary’s final registration number. In this case, the first ones will be those with final registration number 0.
For both categories, the deadline for withdrawals will be December 28th.
Who has the right?
Those who worked with formal registration for at least 30 days during the base year (in this case, 2021), receiving, on average, up to two minimum wages are entitled to the allowance.
You also need to be registered with the PIS/Pasep for at least five years. It is still necessary that the employer has informed the worker’s data correctly in the Annual Social Information List (Rais).
In addition, Resolution 838, of 2019, determines that the amounts of the salary bonus not received by the holders in life are assured to the dependents or legal successors.

- Urban workers employed by individuals
- Workers employed by individuals equivalent to legal entities
Consultation released in February
A Consultation on the 2023 salary bonus will be available from February 5ththrough the work services platform on the Gov.br portal or through Digital Workbook application (CTPS Digital). The download is free from the App Store and Play Store.
For this, the worker will need the CPF number and must create an authenticated account on the Gov.br portal. After logging in, you should consult the “Benefits” option in the lower menu, and then select “Salary allowance”. Another option is to call the number 158.
For workers in private companies, the Caixa number to find out about PIS is 0800-726-0207. As for public servants, it is possible to find out about Pasep at the Banco do Brasil call center, by number 4004-0001 or 0800-729-0001, or even on the BB website. Just fill in the Pasep registration number or CPF and date of birth.

The amount of the allowance is proportional to the number of months worked in the reference base year. You will only receive the maximum amount — equivalent to the national floor — who worked the 12 months of 2021.
With the increase in the minimum wage as of January 1, 2023, the amount of the salary allowance was corrected. The floor was R$ 1,302.
With this, the salary allowance will range from R$ 109 (for those who worked only one month with formal registration in 2021) to R$ 1,302 (for those who worked all year).
How to get?
Workers with current accounts or savings accounts at Caixa Econômica Federal or Banco do Brasil receive the credit directly into their account. The others can go to the banks for the withdrawal, taking an official identification document with a photo and the PIS/Pasep number. This number can be checked on the Meu INSS website, through the National Social Information Register (CNIS), in the FGTS application or in the Caixa Trabalhador application.
It is also possible to access the amount through the Caixa Tem application or using the Citizen Card with password at self-service terminals, lottery shops or Caixa Aqui correspondents (in the case of PIS).
Exceptions
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the salary bonus to be paid after an administrative appeal, reprocessing or judicial decision will be released for payment to the worker on the 15th of the month following that of the judicial opinion or judgment or on the first subsequent business day, if the established day is not a working day.
The payment of the allowance for workers informed in Rais until June 21, 2022 and in eSocial until December 5, 2022 will be released in the calendar of 2023 and, after these dates, in the schedule of the following fiscal year.
