Pizza Festival 2024: three days of taste and fun at the Sant’Artemio Hippodrome

Pizza, a symbol of Italian culinary tradition, will be the absolute protagonist of the Pizza Festival 2024, which will be held at the Ippodromo Sant’Artemio in Villorba, Treviso, from 27 to 29 September. An event that promises to delight the palates of adults and children with a variety of specialties prepared by over 20 pizza chefs from all over Italy.

The Pizza Festival 2024 is not just a celebration of pizza, but a true feast of taste. With nine ovens always on, master pizza chefs will knead, bake and serve pizzas from midday to evening for three consecutive days. Among the protagonists of the event will be illustrious names such as Domenico Cinotti, Salvatore Greco, the 2016 Italian champion Antonio Romeo and the rising stars Vincenzo Romeo and Gaetano Russo. But that’s not all: for those who want to explore other culinary delights, the festival will offer a wide range of street food, including fried pizza, cuoppo, traditional Neapolitan desserts, fried fish and meat specialties. The food stands will offer “pizza-friendly” products, such as sfogliatelle and cuoppi, while the food operators will take care of grilled and fried fish, to satisfy even the most demanding palates.

The Sant’Artemio Hippodrome, with its unique atmosphere, will be the perfect setting for this event. During the festival, the hippodrome will reopen with the trotting races on Sunday 29 September, with an unusual early evening schedule, starting at 5:30 pm, for a better distribution of the national horse racing schedule. The grandstand will be open from early afternoon, allowing visitors to watch the horse races. There will be no shortage of music and fun for the whole family. From Friday to Sunday, the festival will be animated by DJ sets and 360° shows, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere. In addition, there will be a children’s area, where the little ones can play, color and participate in creative workshops.

The Pizza Festival 2024 will be held from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September, with the following times: – Friday 27 September: from 6 pm to midnight – Saturday 28 September: from noon to midnight – Sunday 29 September: from noon to midnight The event is confirmed even in case of rain and entry to the stands, the children’s area and the shows will be free for all days of the event. Reservations will not be necessary, so just show up at the Ippodromo Sant’Artemio to enjoy three days of taste and fun.
