Preparation time:

Total time: 45 minutes (plus 45 minutes baking time)

And this is how it’s done:

  • First drain the corn. Now peel the onions and garlic, dice both finely and then heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the minced meat in it until crumbly. Briefly fry half of the onions and all of the garlic. Stir in tomato paste and add tomatoes and stock. Bring everything to the boil, then season with salt, pepper and oregano. Let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • To make the béchamel sauce, first heat the butter in a saucepan. Sauté the rest of the onion until translucent. Sift in the flour and sweat while stirring. Pour in the milk while stirring, bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring several times. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg and season to taste.

  • Grate the mozzarella. Wrap the outside of a greased springform pan (approx. 26 cm ø) with aluminum foil. Spread a thin layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom of the mold. Cover with 4 lasagne sheets (break the sheets into pieces). Spread half of the minced sauce on top, cover with 4 lasagna sheets and spread with some béchamel sauce. Top with slices of salami and half of the corn. Cover with 4 lasagna sheets. Spread with the remaining minced sauce.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, then place lasagne sheets on top again and spread with the remaining béchamel sauce. Spread the remaining corn on top and sprinkle with grated mozzarella. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of the baking time, spread the mozzarella balls on top. Garnish lasagne with basil if desired.

  • Don’t you think this recipe is absolutely legendary? If you sometimes can’t decide whether you want pasta or pizza, this pizza lasagna is simply the perfect combination of both! Conjure up this feast for your favorite people and enjoy it!
