The Judicial Council of the Mexico Citychaired by the magistrate Rafael Guerra Alvarez, suspended the procedural terms and/or deadlines due to blockages in different offices of the Judiciary.
Through an agreement, this jurisdictional body reported this measure for the day September 4th this year in all jurisdictional bodies, administrative areas and judicial support due to the blockages for the reform of the Judiciary; while the hearings and proceedings that have been able to be held on this day will be valid and will remain in effect.
The performances that were scheduled for this Wednesday, September 4, they were rescheduled according to the agenda that is carried out for this purpose in the jurisdictional body, administrative area and of judicial support.
The criminal courts established guards to deal with matters related to Urgent Cases and Arrest Warrants.
For the Supervised Family Coexistence Center of the H. Tribunal, the suspension of physical cohabitation between mother and child was authorized. paternal-filial, including those scheduled via video call.
While the Twenty-Sixth Civil Court and Twenty-Sixth Family Court will continue to provide assistance in their jurisdictional offices; while the Second, Third and Seventh, all Family Courts of Oral Process, must continue with requests for protection measures or orders for women victims of violence.
If the blockades continue, the Advice of the Judiciary will carry out another suspension of procedural terms and deadlines, while continuing to deal with cases of extreme urgency.
