This is Pjastri’s second career victory, the Australian having won his first at this year’s Hungarian Grand Prix.

Charles Leclair (“Ferrari”) started the race from pole position, who was the leader until the first pit stops, taking over Piastre from the 20th lap. In the continuation, the Monaco driver was close behind Piastre and threatened his leading position, but the McLaren driver stayed ahead.

Third place went to George Russell (Mercedes) after the wheels of Carlos Sainz Jr. (Ferrari) and Sergio Perez (Red Bull) collided on the penultimate lap in the race for the podium, sending them both out of the race.

Overall vice-leader Lando Norris (McLaren) finished fourth, slightly reducing the advantage of Max Verstappen (Red Bull) for the Briton, who started from 15th place, as the champion of the last three seasons finished right behind him. Sixth was Fernando Alonso (“Aston Martin”), followed by his two teammates Alexander Albon and Franco Colapinto (“Williams”), ninth was Lewis Hamilton (“Mercedes”) and the last point was Oliver Berman (“Haas”).

Verstappen is the overall leader of the World Championship with 313 points, Norris is second with 254 points, Leclair is third with 235 points, and Piastre is fourth with 222 points. In the constructors’ cup, “McLaren” has 475 points, “Red Bull” – 456 points, and “Ferrari” – 425 points.

This season, 24 rounds will be held in the F-1 championship.
