jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) has officially issued a decree (SK) of support for Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Dardak to contest the 2024 East Java (Jatim) Pilkada.
PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu was the figure who directly handed over the letter to Khofifah-Emil at the office of the white and orange political party, Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta, Thursday (18/7).
“The results of the PKS Central Leadership Council (DPTP) meeting on July 4, today have been issued as a decree and we have given it directly,” said Syaikhu in a press conference, Thursday.
The former Deputy Mayor of Bekasi considered that Khofifah-Emil had been tested to lead East Java and had the highest electability, so it was natural for PKS to support them in the regional elections in the province with Surabaya as its capital.
“His electability is also good, his credibility and capacity have also been proven,” said Syaikhu.
The man born in West Java hopes that Khofifah-Emil can win the 2024 East Java Pilkada after receiving a decree of support from PKS.
He also instructed PKS cadres at various levels from the center, province, to sub-districts in East Java to win Khofifah-Emil.
“Move simultaneously with totality to win this pair,” said Syaikhu.
