PKS Sets Target to Win 60 Percent of Regions in 2024 Regional Elections

jpnn.comJAKARTA – President of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Ahmad Syaikhu said his political party is targeting a 60 percent victory in the 2024 regional elections.

This was what he expressed after attending the PKS National Working Meeting on Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta, Thursday (19/9).

“God willing, PKS is targeting to win 60 percent of the simultaneous regional elections that will be held throughout Indonesia,” said Ahmad Syaikhu.

According to him, PKS in this Rapimnas will consolidate all party resources, both structure, management members, including public officials, and expert councils to realize the target of victory.

“PKS invites all Indonesian people to use the sovereignty that has been given by the constitution to make the simultaneous regional elections in 2024 a success,” he said.

In addition to the issue of victory, Ahmad Syaikhu said that the Rapimnas also discussed preparations for the Rakernas which will be held on 20-22 September 2024 in Jakarta.

“This is the beginning of the consolidation and strengthening of PKS’s preparations to welcome the 2024 Pilkada victory which will soon arrive,” he explained.

Syaikhu added that the three-day National Working Meeting will focus on discussing the technical aspects of achieving the 60 percent winning target.
