Also, after a series of delays, this second test is scheduled for May 19. Prior to launch, the Starliner was placed on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket at the Vertical Integration Facility at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
If the launch goes as planned, Starliner will likely be allowed to transport NASA, European and Japanese astronauts to the International Space Station in the near future.
