Tirupur: Tirupur Banyan Rocks Association has decided to hold an exhibition to promote recycling of banyan waste.
Tirupur Banyan Rocks Association general committee meeting was held yesterday at Aishwarya Mahal. President Liaquat Ali presided. Zaheer Hussain, Secretary, presented the Association Activity Report. Treasurer Subramanian, Vice President Loomvendan, Deputy Secretary Zafar Sadiq and others spoke.
Visiting government hospitals and government schools, asking for help and providing assistance; Constructing a new building for the association; Taking action against those who post wrongly on social networking sites, considering the safety of North State workers; Conducting exhibitions on recycling methods to promote the recycling of banyan waste; Since it is a small and micro industry, resolutions were passed including reducing GST from 5 percent to 2 percent for banyan industry.
