Planned visit of government delegation to Nigeria canceled – foreign policy

Vienna/Abuja – A visit by Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, Minister of Labor Martin Kocher and Minister of Integration and Women’s Affairs Susanne Raab (all ÖVP) to the West African state of Nigeria that was planned for next week has been canceled at short notice. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BMEIA) said in a statement on Saturday that the Nigerian side had announced that no ministers were available to speak to and was therefore asked to postpone the trip.
