This Thursday (05), the Argentine Ministry of Agriculture and the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BCBA) released their reports on the main crops in the neighboring country and highlighted the planting work for the 2023/24 corn harvest advancing in the Argentine territory.

Data from the Ministry indicate that 12% of the expected area of 10.485 million hectares has already been sown in the country, while the Stock Exchange accounts for planting in 13.9% of the expected total of 7.3 million hectares.

“The rains recorded in recent days in the Southwest improve surface humidity and will allow us to move forward with the incorporation of some early plantings. So far, due to the low demand for humidity at the moment, a large part of the first plantings are in good condition”, point out the technicians at BCBA.
