Playback singer Sangeetha Sachith (46) has passed away. He died at his sister’s house in Thiruvananthapuram this morning while undergoing treatment for kidney disease. He was 46 years old.

Thiruvananthapuram: Playback singer Sangeetha Sajith Passes Away has passed away. He died at his sister’s house in Thiruvananthapuram this morning while undergoing treatment for kidney disease. He was 46 years old.
She has sung in over 200 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The song ‘Ambilipoovattam Ponnuruli’ from ‘Ennu Swantham Janakikutty’ was sung for the first time in Malayalam music. Notable songs include ‘Dhoom Dhoom Dhooreyo’ from ‘Rakkilipatti’, ‘Alare Govinda’ from ‘Kakkakuyili’ and ‘Thalam Poyi Tappum Poyi’ from ‘Ayyappan and Koshi’.
The theme song of ‘Kuruthi’ was last sung in Malayalam. Sangeetha, daughter of VG Sachith and Rajamma, who died in Kottayam Nagampadam Eera, settled in Chennai. Burial will be at 3 pm at the Thycaud Peace Gate.
He has also sung for over 100 audio cassettes in Malayalam and Tamil. He has performed abroad with all the leading singers. The music director also wore the shirt of the music director of the movie ‘Kitchen Work’.
