Former India captain Sabah Kareem has said that Sanju Samson has proved to be a selfless player in the series.
The much-anticipated 2022 IPL series has just ended, with the much-anticipated teams including Chennai and Mumbai exiting the qualifying round without even qualifying for the play-off round.

As well as pointing out the mistake made by the Rajasthan Royals in advancing to the final and losing to the Gujarat Titans, the former players and experts have been giving their views and suggestions on the team that led the Rajasthan Royals to the final.
Saba Kareem, a former wicketkeeper-batsman and cricket consultant for the Indian team, spoke about Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson and the problems in the team.
“Through this series, Sanju Samson has revealed that he is a selfless player. In this series, Samson excelled easily in maintaining a good strike rate, amassing runs and facing good bowlers. But Sabah Karim said his batting is better now than before, the main reason being to learn the captaincy and to develop into a more consistent player. 
Commenting on Sanju Samson’s decision, he said, “Saba Karim has said that it would have been better if Sanju Samson had batted 3rd after Jazz Butler in my view.
