Gulshan Thana police of the capital have arrested the young dramatist Rafat Majumdar Rinku. He was detained as a suspect on Monday (September 23) night.
On Tuesday (September 24) morning, Gulshan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tauhid Alam confirmed this information to RisingBD. He said that details about the arrest of Rafat Majumdar Rinku will be given later.
After Rinku’s arrest, many people from the showbiz arena posted on the social media Facebook. Actor Khairul Basar wrote, ‘I believe and I know that filmmaker Rafat Majumdar Rinku can never cause harm to anyone. Those who know or know the creator Rinku should also know it well. It is not yet known why the producer Rinku was detained at midnight.
He also wrote, ‘If he is detained as a victim of political vengeance; So in these changing times, everyone should protest such actions from their respective positions. Let the creator Rinku be released soon.’
