In the inspection carried out by the Central District Health Bureau – Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the State Attorney’s Office, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and other civil parties at the “La Reine” event garden (La Reine Enterprises and Events Ltd.), Emek Hafer, severe sanitary deficiencies were found , products produced in violation of the law, expired meats as well as food that was stored in violation of the guidelines.
The handling of meat, poultry and fish products, their storage and marketing without the conditions required by the legislation may harm public health. Accordingly, by order of the district veterinarian of the Ministry of Health, about 250 kg of meat products unfit for human consumption were destroyed.
The Ministry of Health and the authorities will continue to take supervisory and enforcement measures to protect public health.
