jpnn.com – KALIANDA – People who are called to become officers or part of the Voting Organizing Group or (KPPS) for the 2024 Pilkada are invited to register.
For the South Lampung Regent Election alone, at least 13,664 officers are needed.
“The total number of KPPS officers needed by the South Lampung KPU is approximately 13,664 people,” said the Coordinator of the Community Participation and Human Resources Division of the South Lampung KPU, Irsan Didi, in Kalianda, Monday (9/9).
He said that in the near future the KPU will open the recruitment of KPPS candidates who will serve in 1,592 Polling Stations (TPS) spread across 17 sub-districts.
According to him, from the number of KPPS members needed, his party will still need security officers to secure the voting process at the TPS.
“From a total of 1,592 polling stations, multiplying that by two means adding 3,904 public order officers,” he said.
The South Lampung KPU has also determined the temporary voter list (DPS) for the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections as many as 792,219 people.
Consisting of 401,423 male voters and 390,796 female voters.
The South Lampung KPU needs at least 13,664 officers or Voting Organizing Groups (KPPS) for the 2024 Pilkada.
