For this Tuesday, June 25, at 11:00, the ordinary session of the Plenary Session of the National Assembly is convened, in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the cantonization of Machala, which will take place at the Municipal Center of Art and Culture, “Luz Victoria Ribera de Blackberry”.

The agenda for this session consists of eight points. It will begin with the entry of the National Banner, followed by the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Ecuador. A commemorative video of the city of Machala will be shown below.

This Monday, June 24, starting at 9:00 a.m., the Justice Commission The process of the project that reforms several laws for the Effective Deconcentration of the State will continue, regulations by which respect for the existing territorial organization is guaranteed, limiting the national authorities from determining zonal headquarters of organizations without following territorial criteria, in order to address the citizens’ demands.

The table of Supervision provides for the approval of the report of the investigation process of the actions carried out by the Ministry of Energy to address the electrical crisis. Likewise, it will proceed with the analysis and evaluation of the evidence for the preparation of the non-binding report on the substantiation of the impeachment request against Wilman Terán, Xavier Muñoz and Ruth Barreno, former president and former members of the Judiciary Council, respectively. .

The Autonomous Government Commission will continue with the treatment and systematization of the observations made in the Plenary and by the actors immersed in the subject, regarding the draft Fire Law, within the framework of the preparation of the report for second debate.

Also this Monday, June 24, starting at 9:30 a.m., the Transparency, Citizen Participation and Social Control Commissionwithin the supervision of the Agreement between the International Monetary Fund and Ecuador, will receive Roberto Fajardo, representative of Yasunidos; Víctor Quishpe, president of the National Union of Educators (UNE); Stalin Raza, expert in constitutional law; and, José Villavicencio, president of the Workers’ Unitary Front (FUT).

Likewise, in the work agenda of the Economic Regime Commissionthe continuation of the treatment of the draft reforms to the Monetary and Financial Code is contemplated.

On his side, the Commission of Constitutional Guarantees, Human Rights, Collective Rights and Interculturalitywill discuss the draft reforms to the Law of Jurisdictional Guarantees and Constitutional Control, based on the qualification of the Legislative Administration Council. Subsequently, he will receive Assembly member Cecilia Baltazar, who will present the scope of the aforementioned legal proposal.
