Investigators discovered a stockpile of chemicals, explosives, detonators, and counterfeit cash worth €21,000 at the home of the main suspect, a 19-year-old ISIS supporter.‍ The suspect was arrested in the⁣ eastern city of Turnitz on Wednesday morning and had planned to kill himself and a ‌large number of people.

The head of⁤ the domestic intelligence agency, Omar Hazavi Pirchner, said the ⁢suspect ⁢intended to attack with‍ explosives and‌ knives. ⁣His ⁣aim was to kill himself and⁤ a‌ large number of people during the event.

Suspects’ Background

The other two suspects, aged‌ 17 and 15, were also taken into custody. The 17-year-old worked ‍for​ a facilities⁢ company that provides services to concert venues and was ⁤arrested near the stadium shortly after the‍ attack. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend.

Very​ little is known about the 15-year-old suspect. His involvement⁣ in the alleged plot is still under investigation. All three suspects are Austrian-born and their ethnic ⁤backgrounds are either Turkish or Macedonian.
