Thiruvananthapuram: The government will appeal against the High Court order to convert 10% community quota seats to public merit for Plus One admissions. This ten percent will be set aside and the allotment will be made. A move after trial allotment starts will cause more confusion.

Plus One trial allotment: Education Minister says technical glitch resolved

Education Minister V. Sivankutty said that the technical problem in the portal which published Plus One trial allotment has been resolved. The minister also said that the reason for the problem was that more than one lakh people were accessing the 4 servers at the same time. The Minister also informed that more servers have been prepared by Data Center, IT Mission and NIC to solve this. 1,76,076 people checked the result till 11.50 am yesterday. V. Shivankutty also informed that 47,395 people added corrections or options in the application.

The minister said that students and parents should not worry about submitting the application. The admission process will be smooth. Unlike the previous year, the education minister also informed that the admission to the additional batch will be made first this time. The minister said that everyone who is eligible is assured of admission.

Plus One Trial Allotment: If one person is talking on the phone and calls the other person, the minister says that he will not get it

When the issue related to Plus One trial allotment was brought to the attention, the minister said in the morning that if one person calls another while talking on the phone, they will not receive it. That’s all it needs to be seen. Sivankutty also explained that the problem was that many students entered the site together. The minister also said that there will be no need to extend the time limit given for making corrections in the trial allotment.

The higher secondary department has given instructions to complete the corrections by 5 pm on Monday. But due to a technical problem, the children could not access the site on the first day. In this case, there was a demand to extend the deadline
