Nomination for the post of UK Prime Minister was held today. Rishi Sunak of Indian origin has been elected as the Prime Minister with the support of 142 MPs in Parliament.
For the first time, Rishi Sunak of Indian origin has been selected as the next Prime Minister of England!
For the first time in the history of England, Rishi Sunak, who is of Indian origin, was elected unopposed as the Prime Minister of England. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Rishi Sunak, the new Prime Minister of England.
“I look forward to working closely on global issues,” he tweeted. He posted Diwali greetings to Indians living in the UK.
