Prime Minister Modi and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar received Messi’s t-shirt as a gift.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Argentina’s Minister of Science and Technology Daniel Plimus yesterday. In this meeting, the Ministers of the two countries discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of nuclear energy, space, digital, defense and biotechnology.
Trade expansion, investment and development of various sectors were also discussed. At the end of the meeting, Jaishankar received a t-shirt of soccer legend Lionel Messi from the Argentinian minister, while Modi, who inaugurated the India Energy Week to be held from February 6 to 8, received a Messi t-shirt from Pablo Gonzalez, chairman of Argentina’s state-owned energy company YPF, who attended the event.
Jaisharkar tweeted that he was happy to meet Argentina’s Minister Plimus Daniel. He posted that we discussed our cooperation in nuclear energy, space, digital, defense and biotechnology and shared pictures of the meeting and a picture of him holding Messi’s T-shirt on Twitter.
