At the opening ceremony of the Chess Olympiad held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai today, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the tournament by accepting the torch. Following this grand ceremony, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with Tamil Nadu BJP officials at the Governor’s House in Chennai.
In this meeting held at the Governor’s House, Bharatiya Janata State President Annamalai, Union Minister of State L. Murugan, Nayanar Nagendran MLA, former Minister Pon. Radhakrishnan and others participated.
A consultation was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi regarding the next steps to be taken by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tamil Nadu politics and the BJP’s representation in Tamil Nadu in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024.
