Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to meet US President Joe Biden next month.
The summit of the Quad Organization, a four-nation bloc of India, the United States, Japan and Australia, will take place next month in Tokyo, Japan. The White House said in a statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with President Joe Biden.
The White House said the meeting would help transform the Indian Pacific into a crisis-free, independent region. The White House’s comments come amid criticism that China is trying to assert its dominance in the Indian Pacific region.
