New Delhi: World leaders, Union Ministers, State Chief Ministers and leaders of various parties have expressed deep condolences on the death of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben.

Japanese Prime Minister Bumio Kishido said, “May the soul of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben rest in peace. I offer my deepest condolences to Prime Minister Modi,” he said.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif says, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met with disaster. Deepest condolences to him” he said.

Nepal Prime Minister Prasanda said, “I express my deepest condolences on the demise of the beloved mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Prime Minister of Sri Lanka: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, the country’s former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the embassies of various countries including Russia and Germany have condoled the death of Prime Minister Modi’s mother Heeraben.

In a post posted on Twitter by President Draupathi Murmu, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother lived by Indian tradition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi strictly follows his life practice and principles. I express my deepest condolences on the death of Prime Minister’s mother Heeraben.

Lok Sabha Speaker: All Union Ministers including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani, Kiran Rijuju, Mansukh Mandaviya, Prakalath Joshi, Ashwini Vaishnav, Jyotir Aditya Scindia, Piyush Goyal, Jaishankar have issued condolence messages.

Chief Ministers of State: Chief Ministers of various states including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have expressed their condolences.

A century rests: PM Modi tweeted, “A glorious century rests at God’s feet. I will always feel the divinity at my mother’s feet. My mother, who lived as a saint, a selfless Karmayogi, and lived a virtuous life, joined the Lord’s feet.
