The Commonwealth Games 2022 will be held in Birmingham from 28 July to 8 August 2022. A total of 215 sportsmen and women are competing in 141 events across 19 disciplines at the Commonwealth Games.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Indian team that will be participating in the Commonwealth Games on July 20 at 10 am via video.
Sportsmen and women players along with their coaches will participate in this discussion. The meeting is being held as an effort to motivate the players who will participate in the important sports events.
Last year, the Prime Minister discussed with the Indian sports team that was going to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the Indian Para Sports team that was going to the Tokyo 2022 Paralympic Games.
