Despite the long straight line of the Soisy plateau racecourse and the distance of 2,875 m, the fastest horses at the start were honored during this first quinté of the week. Quickly installed in the lead by Gabriele Gelormini, Flying Brickell (No. 6) almost did it from start to finish and thus offered a second straight straight to his coach, Sébastien Ernault, after that obtained on Saturday in Caen. It was counting without Fanatic Flash (n° 9), the richest of the first echelon and masterfully driven by David Thomain. Always seen in the wake of the host, he was shifted mid-straight and accelerated perfectly to go and get an easy success. “He’s a great horse that does everything we ask of him even if he doesn’t have a huge margin,” says his trainer, Jean-Philippe Raffegeau. It starts well and has had a good run. He hadn’t raced for a month and a half, but I preferred to prepare well for this race rather than racing first for a seventh place and putting on a red emoji. »
Even if he had to make the distance, Dollar du Plain (n° 13) made a nice straight line to measure Dexpresso Smart (n° 5), who had to negotiate the last bend in thickness and was not expected at such a party. Despite an unfavorable commitment, Moose of the Mouchel (No. 10) completes the quinté at the gates of which the favorite fails, namely Fabulous Dream (No. 16), who lost a lot of ground on the way out following a foul.
