After yesterday’s marathon day on the Butte Mortemart, the Sunday quinté was held at the ParisLongchamp racecourse. Contested on the particular course of 1,400 m of the new track with a finish judged at the far post, this handicap reserved for 4 years old and over has returned to We Ride The World (No. 1) who had just won in a hard fight on the Marseille-Borély track (Bouches-du-Rhône). After waiting for his time, near the facilitators, this resident of Patrice Cottier went on the offensive mid-straight and found himself struggling with Simply Striking (No. 4), subject to a strong hold shortly before the start. Well supported by his partner, Anthony Crastus, he managed to steal the best from him, with a header, near the post, which allowed him to win his fourth straight for his sixth participation.

More than two lengths from the leading duo, Rock Blanc (n° 3), Havoc (#13) and Shallali (n° 10), the favourite, found themselves battling for the runners-up. After photography, the first named managed to take third place by one head ahead Havoc. After having deluded for a better classification, the favorite is content to complete the arrival of the fifth and is ahead Oasis Cove (n° 14) whose end of race did not go unnoticed.
