Third in the 2019 edition, Shenko Magic (n°12) demonstrated that he was still nimble, at the age of ten, by winning the Grande Course de Haies de Clairefontaine, the quinté of the day which opposed sixteen jumpers, from 5 to 10 years old, over the distance 3,600 m from the Clairefontaine racecourse. Ridden by Alban Desvaux, yet fell an hour earlier while in the saddle on Precious Dauteuilthis son of Balko wins its first quinté for its sixth participation.
Quickly well placed in the leading group, he took the best after jumping the last difficulty and held the favorite, Elvis of Balme, (n°4) his only rival in the final phase. Away from the leading duo, Chella Speed (n°2), constant extra, slightly ahead Calinight (n°1), excellent under its 72 kg, which precedes by only one head Helsinki Nolimitauthor of an attractive end of race.
After leading, Gino des Dunes (#13) gave way completely in the final phase while Foreign Flower (n°3) was never threatening for its comeback race, being stopped before approaching the final bend.
