Before finding excellent 3-year-olds at the start of the Prix Jean Prat during the Sunday meeting scheduled for the Deauville racecourse (Calvados), the quinté of the day was reserved for this same generation with sixteen participants, divided into eight books on the scale of values. After 1,600m contested on the medium track, the prize went to Une Perle (n°5). Presented by Jérôme Reynier, this daughter of Mount Nelson made a strong impression for her debut in a fifth as well as on this track at ParisLongchamp. After waiting behind the hosts’ backs, she went on the offensive in the last hundred meters before unhooking her opponents with great ease. “She still lacks experience, but I had a clear career. She accelerated well in the final phase and probably still has room for improvement”, savored her jockey, Gérald Mossé.

She is ahead of one of the leaders, Quartz du Houley (n°15) and Rising Up (n°1). After photography, Melbora (n°14) and Ends Of The Earth (n°4), in this order, complete the arrival of this fifth and are slightly ahead of Moon Rider (n°3), which fails by a head for better ranking.
