After the last two stages won by Gap d’Angis, the Tour de France caravan of trotters has packed its bags in the Côtes-d’Armor department at the Saint-Brieuc racecourse on the right. Spread over three starting levels, this fourth stage went to the less wealthy competitor, Horace du Goutier (#1). Quickly well placed, the resident of Sébastien Guarato got rid of his opponents at the start of the last bend to go and seek a very easy success, offering a first fifth to his driver, Hugues Monthulé. “This son of Ready Cash is very hard working. He should make a good aged horse. He could be seen again soon in this circuit if he still benefits from a commitment at the first level, ”declared his developer.
At a clear distance from the winner, Glamour Queen (n°6) grabbed an easy second place, after having constantly trotted in the lead group, and preceded Gaspar d’Angis (n°7), the only 25m competitor at the finish, thus consolidating his yellow leader’s jersey. Quickly noticed behind the backs of the animators, Gamin Strong (n°2) lost the benefit of his efforts, after investigation, by being disqualified from fourth place. This one goes to the outsider, Figolu Frazéen (n°4), which precedes Guinness d’Herfraie (n°3).
The next stage is scheduled for May 24 on the Croisé-Laroche track (North).
