Arrival of the fifth : 11 -14 – 8 – 1 – 5
The quinté of this midweek was once again set at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse. Unlike yesterday’s contested on the classic course of 2,700m on the main track, this event reserved for trotters aged 8 and 9 was contested with the help of the autostart for a journey of 2,100m. Despite a disadvantageous position in the second row behind the car, Fabulous Piya (n°11) proved to be the strongest. After waiting for his time in the peloton, Alexis Collette’s partner finished the fastest on the outside, which allows him to achieve a masterstroke for his first steps in this category.
Also forced to start with an unfavorable number on the second row behind the autostart, Smart Burois (n°14) takes a convincing second place after having waited not far from the leaders. Preserved by Franck Nivard during the course and noticed by its end of race, Elene Bourgeoise (n°8) completes the podium and precedes another outsider, Franklin de Meslay (#1). The quinté is completed by the favorite, Lupine flower (n°5) which gave the impression of a better classification at the entrance to the finish line.
To note that Fakir Stardust (n°12) lost all chance on a long prank at the start while Girl of the Green (n°2) broke up in the final bend when she was in the back of the animators.
Stéphan Flourent indicated the fifth in the disorder.
