According to the indictment, one of the accused worked in a suburb of the county as a storekeeper for a company that distributed horticultural products. In 2017, the accused was approached by a local acquaintance saying that moles had proliferated in his garden, to help him. After that, the man acquired a compressed gassing agent in the form of tablets for 3 years, which he passed on to the other man. The agent can only be handled by a person with a medical gas master’s exam, as it is very toxic, and in contact with water, highly flammable and toxic gases are formed. – writes in his press release Csongrád-Csanád County Prosecutor’s Office.
Neither of the two men had this special qualification. The minor child of the man who bought the drug found the poison in 2021, then took it in a suicide attempt and died despite professional medical treatment. The district prosecutor’s office accuses the defendants of misdemeanor poisoning. The Szeged District Court will decide on the guilt of the accused.
