Pol Guasch, Maria Callís Cabrera and Josep Maria Fonalleras will participate in the new cycle of poetry of Banyoles, baptized like Towards the lake. The cycle organized by the Public Library of Banyoles and Comarcal del Pla de l’Estany takes over from Vers al bar. On this occasion, the poets will move to the Gimferrer fishery of the lake on the first Saturday of each month, from April to June, to recite his work, but also works by other poets.
The Roussillon writer and journalist Joan-Lluís Lluís will be in charge of leading the proposal, curated by himself looking for a “cross-sectional perspective regarding generations and territories of the Catalan Countries”, as he explained yesterday.
The cycle will begin on April 2 with Guasch, will continue on May 7 with Maria Callís Cabrera and will end with Josep Maria Fonalleras on June 4. All three activities will always be held at 12 noon and will be free.
