The new legislation – approved by the House with 228 votes in favor, 216 against and 10 abstentions and which requires the signature of the president – will force the American company Discovery Inc., owner of the largest private television network in Poland, Tvn, to sell its assets. in the country: in fact, the law prevents non-European entities from holding the majority shareholding and therefore the control of Polish media.
