Held in check by Mexico in their first match, Poland challenged Hervé Renard’s surprising Saudi Arabia. Arkadiusz Milik and Robert Lewandowski are starters.
Poland will play with Arkadiusz Milik behind Robert Lewandowski in attack to face Saudi Arabia on Saturday at the Education City Stadium in Doha, as Hervé Renard renewed Salem Al-Dawsari and Saleh Al-Shehri, heroic scorers in the victory against Argentina, at the World Cup-2022.
On the bench and entering three minutes from the end of regulation time, Arkadiusz Milik will start the match, while Robert Lewandowski will try to finally score his first goal in the World Cup after four matches without finding the net (three in 2018 and one in 2022). The Polish defense remains unchanged from the game against Mexico (0-0).

Saudi Arabia coach, Frenchman Hervé Renard, trusted eight of his eleven heroes against Argentina (2-1 victory), including the two scorers Salem Al-Dawsari and Saleh Al-Shehri. The Saudis need a victory to be the first team to qualify for the round of 16 of this World Cup-2022, and repeat the feat of 1994 when they reached this stage of the competition in the United States.
The Poles, held in check by Mexico, will have to win to get back into the race for a ticket to the round of 16.
