For the second year in a row, Yaselda is flooded on a collective farm field near Pinsk. The newly appeared pond was chosen by swans and ducks, informs «Media-Polesie».
This year the flood started in January. Due to rains and melting snow, the groundwater level has risen, almost all the rivers of Polesye have come to the floodplain. For example, in Pinsk, the main water artery, the Pina, entered the embankment and approached a new building in a new microdistrict of the city.
An unusual picture these days can be observed by motorists along the M-10 highway. From the bridge over the Yaselda River to the very forest, if you go towards Luninets, dozens of hectares of land went under water.
The temporary reservoir was chosen by swans and ducks. There are at least a hundred of them here.
