The investigation into the murder of singer Sara Mariano took another step towards clarifying the case, this time with the arrest of the 4th suspect involved in the crime that shocked the evangelical community.
The man named Victor Gabriel de Oliveira was arrested in the municipality of Camaçari, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador, Bahia. He would have collaborated with the other two suspects already arrested, one known as Bishop Zadoque and the other called Gideão Duarte.
The first person arrested, on October 28th, was the singer’s own husband, Ederlan Santos Mariano. He would have been responsible for ordering the murder of Sara Mariano.
According to profile Assemblies of Valor, Victor Gabriel would have revealed in a statement to the Police that Ederlan paid R$2,000.00 for the murder of his wife. Gideão would have received R$400.00, while Victor would have received R$1400.00, and another person who would not have directly participated in the murder, R$200.00.
Evil plot
Sara Mariano’s body was found partially charred last month. According to the investigation, the criminals’ objective was to try to hide the body, after the victim had suffered stab wounds.
In addition to the shocking crime that had already been confessed by Ederlan, the involvement of figures linked to the Pentecostal evangelical milieu, such as Bishop Zadoque, also drew attention.
In a video published on YouTube, it is possible to see Zadoque participating in a podcast presented by Ederlan, where he is presented as a personal friend. As GospelMais has already reported, there is speculation that both were involved in a homosexual relationship.
Another speculation about the motivation for the crime would be the existence of Sara Mariano’s alleged lovers, which has already been denied by her sister. The victim’s mother, in turn, also pointed out that her daughter was living in an abusive relationship, including threats. See more:
