Not quiet in Hapoel Tel Aviv. The police arrested five fans today (Sunday) who threw stones at the team’s training ground.

The police said that at noon a report was received about an incident of stone throwing by fans towards the training ground.

Jaffa station police immediately arrived at the scene and arrested five fans who are suspected of the act, they are residents of the center in their 20s. They were brought to the station for questioning.

The incident took place about two and a half hours after it became clear that Hapoel Tel Aviv’s appeal was rejected by the Football Association’s court. This means that the point deducted for the Reds will not be returned to them.

It should also be noted that the stone-throwing incident and the arrest were reported just a few minutes before the start of Yossi Abouxis’ press conference ahead of the match against Hapoel Petah Tikva (Monday, 20:00).

In the last game of Hapoel Tel Aviv, they were defeated 3:0 by Maccabi Tel Aviv and basically did not win in their last three games. As a result, the Reds are only in 11th place with 23 points.
