The Rio Civil Police arrested two members of the PCC, a criminal faction in São Paulo, in Armação dos Búzios, in the Lagos region of Rio de Janeiro, on Friday (17).

According to the corporation, agents from Draco (Delegation for the Repression of Organized Criminal Actions and Special Investigations) carried out the arrests after intelligence work and monitoring of the men.

One of the detainees had four outstanding arrest warrants for homicide, criminal organization, corruption of minors and torture. Arrested for the first time in 2014, in Rondônia, he fled to Rio after nearly seven years in the prison system.

The second already had two passages by the police for theft, attempted murder, conspiracy and illegal possession of a firearm. A revolver was seized from him.

Also according to the Civil Police, the two acted in the state of Rondônia, in the north of the country.
