/ The Iraqi police team achieved a great victory over its guest, the Syrian Al-Wahda team, by a difference of 28 points, with a score of 79-51 points, in the (Wasl) West Asia Super Basketball Championship.
Thus, the Iraqi police snatched the second card and qualified for the next stage in the Wasl Championship.
The match took place this evening, Wednesday, in the closed People’s Hall for Sports in the capital, Baghdad, at eight o’clock in the evening.
The police wore white uniforms trimmed with green, while the Syrian Al-Wahda team wore black with orange.
Last November, the Iraqi police team lost to its host, the Syrian Al-Wahda, in its first match in the Wasl Basketball Championship, with a score of (70) points for the police and (74) points for Al-Wahda.
