The confrontation occurred after the group of protesters forcibly entered the facilities of the Prosecutor’s Office in the Tlalpan district, who were dispersed by members of the Metropolitan Police.
According to reports, the alleged members of the Otomi community were attacked when they were demonstrating on Thursday afternoon on the esplanade of the Xochimilco mayor’s office in support of Hortensia Telesforoafter which the five people in question were arrested, an act that was described as an act of repression.
