Police Conduct Raids on Suspected Human Trafficking Salons in Stockholm

The police’s human trafficking section in Stockholm has been actively monitoring two salons in Enskede and Haninge for suspected involvement in human trafficking. The long-term reconnaissance operations culminated in a series of raids that took place on Tuesday at lunchtime.

“We suspect that sexual services are sold on a large scale at these salons,” said Daniel Löfgren, detective leader at the police’s human trafficking section in Stockholm.

As a result of the raids, two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of serious pimping and money laundering. Additionally, the police are currently interviewing several women who were present at the salons. According to Löfgren, these women will be offered help and support through social services.

Human trafficking is a serious issue that affects individuals all around the world, and the police’s efforts to combat this illegal activity are crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of potential victims. The raids serve as a reminder of the ongoing work to eradicate human trafficking and bring those responsible to justice.
